snowmobile rerpair

Looking for some advise on snowmobile repair.

Recently purchased a 2003 used Polaris 550 . Took it out of the trailer yesteday, got it started took it around the yard for a while, then shut it off.


Now it sits on my driveway and I cant start it:

I go to start it and the motor ( electric start) just keeps spinning.

I've done the following :
1] new battery
2] replaced both spark plugs
3] drained the fuel line and gas flows out it.
4] truned the motor over with out the plugs and gas shots out the pistons
5] did a spark test on the plugs... did not see a spark.
6] pull start doesnt even do anything.

Any suggestions ?

Any recommendations on a repair person ? Do they make house calls... I cant get it to move out of the driveway or get it on the trailer.

I typically use Rochester Motor Sports 'cause I live off 16.

If they have one it sounds to me that the bendix spring or solenoid isn't working properly.:)

No spark is your problem. Start with the simple stuff, is the kill switch on? Check the connectors to the ignition module, kill switch and cdi module....... just look at the wires, make sure all connectors are plugged in. If all looks good, disconnect, look for corrosion, clean if necessary, then reconnect.
