I went skiing yesterday at Gunstock. It was amazing that about 500' below the summit the snow/ice on the trees/ground/bushes became intense. It was down right nasty stuff...40 foot pines were bent over with their tips on the ground. I live about 1000' below the summit and you would never know any of that went on...we all dodged a bullet.
