Snowmobile Boots

Can anyone tell me the best snowmobile boots to get that will really keep our feet warm while out there.

I use the Navigator Neos from the overshoe store on line. They are about $100.00, good to -20 below, have a gator that goes up to the top of your thigh, and they slip right over your shoe,or boot. They are not "snowmobile boots" by name, but they are alot cheaper, and keep my feet toasty warm.

I have Baffin boots. They are tall and look a bit like a modern day moon boot. They are great.

Most snowmobile manufacturers carry their own line of boots that are well made, warm, waterproof and bend where they need for snowmobiling. I have pairs from both Ski-Doo and Arctic Cat and both are outstanding!

While Sorel boots "used" to be good when they were made by Kaufman in Canada, they are no longer made in Canada and for the last fifteen years have been manufactured in China and Vietnam. Their quality is not nearly what it used to be... I still have an old pair of Sorel Dominators that I use for ice fishing that have stood the test of time and are extremely warm!

Yes my son had Sorel and last year when we went to maine his little toes were frozen. I said not again this year.

I have had them all and the Klim boots are by far the best (and most expesive) I've ever had. A friend I ride with has the Baffin boots and swears by them also.

I'll second Red Apple on the post for KLIM boot best I've ever had very very warm. A stiffer boot then my Sorel's but I don't mind that on the sled.

I use the adrenaline series but there is an Artic that's even warmer

Two years ago I went to the tall muck boots from tractor supply, my skidoo boots tore and I was stuck without boots for a ride. I picked up the mucks and and thought it would be a temp fix until I could get home. They were the best boots I have used snowmobiling, I bought the chore HI boot, they are water tight and tall to keep covered when moving around. They are light, and you can move and walk in them.

I now use them for that, and as a general boot around the house. The HI is High, you can fold em down and have a short boot. These and a good sock have become the snow boot of our group of sledding friends.

I ride 2000+ miles most years and have often ridden at -25 degrees F with these boots. My feet have never been cold in these boots.

I find the Klim boots too warm for those warm days of riding so I rely on these when it is above 15 degrees F.

I have a pair of Bogs Classic High boots. These are by far, the warmest boots I have ever tried. At $90-110 they are a good deal. These boots matched with a pair of Smart Wool socks will provide me all day warm feet. I can't get an hour out of anything else. Comfortable too. I wear them shopping, working around the house, or in the woods, with matched comfort for each activity. Highly recommend.
