Space Station???

I know this is a long shot but did anyone else see the very low, EXTREMELY bright satellite in the southern sky tonight? It was very unusual, was it the space station by any chance?

According to NASA's website the International Space Station was visible today only at 4:05 and 5:38 AM.

I was on the dock around 8pm last night and saw 2 separate Satillites , but they were small and faint. Both moved northwest to southeast.

We crossed over to Bear on Friday night at 10. The night sky was amazing. The Pleides were visible to the east and the Milky Way overhead was as bright as I've ever seen it. Cool nights make for the best time to stare gaze. And occasionally you get to see something else pass overhead. I'm still looking for my first ufo. I'm from Exeter and was a kid when the aliens landed there (supposedly). I missed out but am still looking up.

I go out almost every night and have yet to be shut out of seeing "satellites". Its almost all space junk but pretty cool finding it and watching it move through the sky. I will say I see much less now than I did during the summer months. Probably the angle of the sun relative to my location on earth.

Anybody see last nights ISS? The highest one overhead I've seen at 85 degrees. Tonite is a long 6 minute one starting just before 7. Sw-Ne at 52 degrees above the horizon maximun height.

We got a great look at the space staion last night! It flew buy at 6:58PM SW-NE.

Funny, I was a CIT at Camp Lincoln about the same time if the 'invasion'. The counselors and CITs use to make up campfire stories to scare the campers until the Director said it was enough. I was a little scared myself as the night I heard the story, I couldn't sleep at all!
