John recently created a mobile shrink wrap setup on the back of his truck!
Give him a call. He can even detail your boat before wrapping!

His crew detailed my boat this year (awesome job!) I plan to try them for shrinkwrap as well. Need to confirm if they do winterization or just wrapping.

We do do winterizations, here at my shop and also on the road. We also do oils, and bottom washes at the shop

For 10+ years we've had Village Custom Works in Melvin Village shrink wrap our boats. Rob does a terrific job. He charges $12/foot.

an old thread, but wanted to see if there were any updates for recommended mobile shrink wrappers.

Diamond Shine and Geddy both do it properly without asking
they wrap down to your water line mainly to protect from UV. and then also allows better run off
if you are having someone else do it, make sure they do that as well, a lot will stop at the rub rail or even higher

I've used a fella by the name of John Sherkanowski for the last two years. I think he's out of Meridith. He came to my house and wrapped in the driveway. Did a great job both times and was $10 per foot. Not sure of any rate change this year. He also does engine winterizing on site as well as detailing. Only been boating for 3 years so don't have any experience with anyone else.

Whoever you get make sure they wrap down to the waterline at a minimum. This is not so much for UV as it is for rub marks caused by wind against your shrink wrap.
Spooner at Diamond Shine does it right!

I've never had my boat wrapped for the winter. It's always been stored in the barn.
Opinions on wrapping? I've heard horror stories of moisture issues and the vinyl etc.
Thanks.

should you put dryer sheets in all the compartments?
