We have a mid-size cruiser and are looking to do some barbecuing on it out on the lake this season.
Does anyone have recommendation (positive or negative) for a gas barbeque grill?
I picked up a nice compact webber. small propane bottles. It looks great...haven't fired it up yet. With stand that converts to a dolly it was a/r $200. If I over-paid I don't want to know about it! :)" checkout: http://www.weberstuff.com/weqpogasgr.html

I think there may be some pictures in the gallery of boat that went up in flames a few years back in the broads...

We have the Magma Party size gas grille from West Marine. Have had it for 3 years now and works super.
It uses the little Bernz-o-matic propane tanks. I mounted it on the rear so it swings out over the swim platform for cooking, but there are several mounts available. It was without a doubt the best $200 I have spent on the boat. Its sweet to be at the sandbar and climb out of the water and start cooking your steaks/chicken/corn-on-the-cob. Just thinking about it makes me yearn for summer. Good luck and happy barbequing. Hope this link works....

I have had nothing but good experience with Weber grills. I think the food tastes better when it comes off a Weber.

I've had a Magma for years. Best suggestion I could give is to get the biggest one you can find room for. You'll wish you had once you start using it and have a boat load of hungry people.

We have the Magma cooker and love it! There are many different mounting options, but we recommend that you think through where and how you will mount the cooker. Propane can be dangerous is not handled carefully. You should never store the propane tanks on the boat. They are small enough to carry back and forth, so it's not worth the risk.
Irwin Marine has most of the Magma products in stock.
