The Masons here in Alton host a Breakfast Buffet once a month on the third Sunday each month. We also host some dinners during the year as well, usually on a Saturday night. The Lodge is located a quarter mile south of the Alton Circle on route 28. All the events are listed in this site's Calendar section, with greater detail there. All are open to the public.

For the dinners, we do offer takeout containers as well...no need for everyone to get dressed up to go out.

Here is a sheet you can print out and hang on the fridge. Cut the lower half off and give it to a friend. thanks

There is one thing you missed upthesaukee and probably should be explained and that is that they offer take out also. Many are doing that for the meals when they are busy and/or have company. Great way to get a fantastic meal when your sitting on the beach or in the yard having a good time with your neighbors or friends and really do not want to get out of the bathing suit to go and eat while trying to keep the kitchen clean.:)

If you haven't been yet, give it a try! Upthesaukee makes a fantastic omelet!!! :liplick:

Check out the pictures of the people cooking the delicious breakfasts they put out at Winnipesaukee Masonic Lodge 75 (http://www.winnipesaukeemasons.com/). (Scroll down and to the right.)

Upthesaukee, thank you very much for adding these events to our calendar! I really appreciate the help. :D

So.................Canoe has a free shuttle from the Center Harbor town docks to the restaurant. Maybe a shuttle from the Alton town docks to the Masons Lodge would increase business? Just a suggestion!

So.................Canoe has a free shuttle from the Center Harbor town docks to the restaurant. Maybe a shuttle from the Alton town docks to the Masons Lodge would increase business? Just a suggestion!

Biggest problem is we are all volunteers, and the number of people we have can vary from one event to another, making it difficult to dedicate one or more vehicles and drivers.

Second problem is our insurance would not cover the use of vehicles, and in today's society, well, you know... . Certainly do not want to put the Lodge members personal auto coverage in jeopardy as well, for the same reason. :(

To add that kind of coverage to our insurance would be cost prohibitive considering we only do 12 breakfasts and 5 or 6 dinners, with only about half of them at a time of the year where we may be able to reap any benefit.

Thank you for the suggestion, Tilton BB, it is appreciated. Of course, maybe I could stand out by the road and entice people in like the kids at a car wash, or the girls at the gas docks....mmmmmm, on second thought...:rolleye2::eek::laugh:

I'll be there all ready to break all my diet intakes. Looking for some great conversation with those serving and those that are there for the same reason I am, GOOD FOOD, conversation and a good chuckle or 2. I will also be bringing out a take out for a good neighbor who is unable to attend.:)

It was nice to meet you and your wife, and we thank you for venturing out today in the snow to come to the breakfast.

I don't think there is a better value for $10 for a breakfast buffet around here. Glad you enjoyed it.

is a great friend of my family. Good to see this post come up. I'll need to add some events to my calendar so I remember this great option. My dad was a Junior Warden and Secretary at Gideon, a visit with his brethren could be a great thing. Thank you.

Stew is finishing up his term as Grand Master next month after serving the Grand Lodge as Grand Master for the last 2 years. He is a fine man.

Thanks for posting, and we are only about 20-25 minutes away from your Gilford location.

We do the breakfasts on the third Sunday of each month.

Be well.:)
