I still don't understand why people think they need to bring the cars and trucks out onto the ice... A snowmobile or 4 wheeler I understand.... but not the cars and trucks....

Looks as if he sunk thru the frozen icy snow to the solid ice. He'll need a plow/snow blower to get him out.:)

That's if the slush around him hasn't frozen solid.

I see many older people driving cars and trucks on the ice. Some don't want to give up the ice fishing sport they love and don't have the physical abilities anymore to drive or load and unload 4 wheelers or snowmobiles. Are they taking a chance...sure, everyone is when your on the ice.

While at this point in my life I don't agree with driving an automobile on the ice, I do understand why some people do and try not to judge, after all its not illegal and some day I may be in their same circumstance...

Just before the bed race, an elderly woman tried to drive out on the ice with a FWD car and all season tires. She got stuck after the ramp. Volunteers had to push the car back up the ramp. Definitely a no-brainer.
