Its website is here: http://www.lakesregionwireless.net/

It's website FAQ's state not to replace DSL or Cable. Download speeds range from 500kb to 4 Mb.

Assuming that you did dial the right number, I would have concerns about the customer service, based on what you are telling us.

Have seen the ads before, just never really paid attention to it.

Thanks for the replies. I have time Warner now, just looking for a cheaper option. They are soooo expensive!!! I'm paying $50 a month now. My tv is 19.99 with dish. Internet is more than twice as much. I wish I could find a basic plan that would allow to surf and check email, TW most basic service is still only $10 less than what I pay now.

I get up about 3AM.... Maybe you were calling someone else, unless you get up earlier than that, lol

I don't complete with those that can get cable or DSL, my clientele are those that have no other options. I'm as cheap as DSL, so no price gouging. I just can't and won't try to match the speeds of wired providers. These days, my customer base is very small due to TW and mainly Fairpoint aggressive expansion.

I have a nitch of those who have no other options and can beat cell phone connects, but I'm not here to debate :)

The camera on my tower has been reconfigured, for economic reasons, and is offline, after 15+ years of service. I miss it.

Yes, there has been several people who have tried to assume my registered trade name over the last few decades, good luck to them, there is no $$ to be gained, lolol.
