A big congrats to The Wolfeboro Inn....great little article about the Moose Burger Challenge!

T-Bones, Common Man, Hungry Buffalo also made the list.

Driving through Manchester and hungry? I highly recommend the Farm Bar & Grill, the atmosphere, service as well as the food is worth the stop!

I haven't had a Sawyers burger in years. At that time I rated them as just another whopper from BK.

Try a burger from Kitchen Cravings. I'm surprise they did not make the list. You won't be disappointed! Tell Bill I sent ya!

I don't know about this particular magazine, but very often you have to make a submission of your business to be included. Maybe Kitchen Cravings didn't care to do it.

I think you're looking at last year's list - from 2013... I made the same mistake, thinking that it was like taxes, and a year behind. The voting is actually still open for this year's 'Best Of' lists and the link to cast your votes is here: http://www.nhmagazine.com/Best-of-NH/ :) Oh, and you can write in any of your favorites if they aren't on the list!

And I checked the date at the end of the web page, too! A friend sent me the link, he knows I like a good burger! Thanks for the link, I will add my favorites.

To Broadhopper: Sawyers' new owner has upped their burger quality quite a bit in the last few years. It's not just a glorified Whopper any more.

I'd never been that impressed with the Red Arrow's breakfast offerings, but I recently ended up there after midnight (they're open all night) and ordered a bacon burger. OMG! Best Burger I'd had in years!! Two thick & crisp slices of bacon (polished off as an appetizer), draped across a cheese coated 1.25 inch, at least 6 ounce (maybe 8), obviously hand-formed and high-quality beef patty, which was grilled perfectly medium. Bun was lighter than usual, and also grilled. Along with the also-excellent fries and Coke I kept muttering to my wife that it was the PERFECT burger. :liplick:

New Hampshire magazine is a 'pay for play' magazine and biased only towards ad buyers...

My wife and I go there all the time. The burgers are awesome! I like the burger club a lot also. You have the option for regular beef or bison.

After midnight, must have been a wild night . Weekends will have a line out the door around bar closing time.

How do you know this? I have never spent a single penny on an ad and my business is nominated for 8 categories this time around. The polling is done by survey monky an independent source.

IMHO there are some very tasty burgers on this list.

I suppose not many people consider Kitchen Cravings for lunch, just breakfast. I can imagine why the numbers can be down.

Take a look at this list. Most of the 'joints' are in NH Magazine.

Going to the Red Arrow Diner is all about going to the Red Arrow Diner, not about the food, BUT, once there, the food turns out to be awesome and the waitresses add a certain mystique to the place.

It should be on everyone's "must see" list, at least once.

My niece took me to the Mountainview Station restaurant an old train depot in Ossipee. I had a burger with swiss cheese and mushrooms. So delicious! Melt in your mouth yummy! Would definitely return for another burger or the chicken walnut sandwich my niece said never disappoints. :liplick:

I'll have to give them a try. Watched the videos on their website and it looks like an interesting place to go. http://www.redarrowdiner.com/

Our family would always go to Red Arrow it was a great place to go and people watch and always good food. Especially when I got older to go with my friends at 1am and the lines would be out the door after clubs got out.
