This was a bit of an experiment. I took this picture from about 15" above the surface of the ice. (As low as my tripod would go)

Taken at Diamond View Beach in Lake Shore Park just before the actual sunrise.

I liked the very low angle shot because it really made the islands look much closer than they really are.
