I noticed there were two dogs missing from Lakes Region so I thought I would post their images on here. Please keep an eye out for them or any other pets who may be lost as it's awfully cold to be outside in this weather!

I don't think the links worked so I've also uploaded the images.

I notice that their website also recommends the following from my post in the winni pets section. However they state putting a bowl of food out, which is not recommended due to attracting other wildlife.

Please put out an article of your clothing at the location where your dog was last seen. There is a good chance that your dog may return.

Kauriel (and others), for future reference, you can directly embed "Public" Facebook posts using the "Embed Post" link. If you just cut and paste the embed link into your forum message they'll look like this and all the links will work:

<div id="fb-root"></div> <script>(function(d, s, id) { var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0]; if (d.getElementById(id)) return; js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id; js.src = "//connect.facebook.net/en_US/all.js#xfbml=1"; fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs); }(document, 'script', 'facebook-jssdk'));</script>

One thing though. I really wish people would update these posts so that we can stay informed. Found, Not found yet etc. I hate to go looking for an animal which has been home for days and we don't know. Just worrying about our little 4 legged friends, that's all. BTW I printed out these pics and have them in my truck so that I will remember the names and descriptions....

Thanks for keeping an eye out! Granite State Dog Recovery generally does a good job providing updates on the missing dogs - including updating the original status (which is why I attempted to post it directly from facebook). I no longer see the Wolfeboro posting so maybe that dog has been found but the Gilford dog still shows as missing. For anyone on Facebook you can follow their page to be aware of dogs that may be lost in your area: https://www.facebook.com/granitestatedogrecovery.

It's upsetting to read about the missing dogs. Just gives me a sick feeling in my stomach, especially in this severe cold. Hopefully someone found them quickly and will try and contact the owners or animal control.

Sounds like they are close to finding Audrey in Gilford. She's very shy so please don't try to catch her. Call (603) 455-2069 if you see a a yellow lab with a pink collar near Gilford. She may have been spotted around the fire station so keep an eye out if you are in that area and call the # listed above.
