Does anyone know if you can launch a canoe from Carrie Beach in the summer? or anywhere close to it?

One more question does anyone know of where you can put in a day sail boat in Wolfeboro near Carrie beach? Thanks It seems like living near the lake without a private beach it's hard to get in the water.

I would check with the town first, but I have seen people launch canoes at Carrie. They go to the far ends, not trespassing on private land, and launch there. As far as a sailboat, I'm not sure if there is enough water to launch at carrie depending on the boats size. A sunfish might be doable but larger than that is not realistic.
During the slower days I can't imagine anyone would care.
Hope this helps-
Have a merry Christmas!

Probably if you just carry or drag the canoe down the side edge of the town sandy beach to the lake, and it is paddled and does not have a motor, it will not be a problem. Also, probably best not to go ask too many questions about it at town hall or at the recreation dept, and just go do it and then stay out of the swimming area.

I have not heard of any rules that say you can't put a canoe in at Carrie but I could be wrong. You could always put a day sail boat in at the Libby Museum ramp-not too far from Carrie Beach.
