Does anyone know some nice trails that are good for wildlife photography? Maybe a beaver dam or an osprey or eagle hotspot?
Would love to run into some of the larger mammals, but not going to ask about that, yet...
Even a nice mallard in the right light gets me excited, so any advice on a nice area will do, but just wondering if there are any little gems around this area which we are missing out on.

Thank you RLW, for the kind words. I am very new to the forum and am learning a lot. While we have been spending time on the lake for years, we only recently moved to Meredith and were pleasantly surprised at the amount of wildlife enthusiasm and collective knowledge available on the forum.
Have a beautiful day!

Be aware, it's hunting season. Dress accordingly.

You will also find that Wildlife around here will just pop up in unexpected ways. Deer in the middle of busy Wolfeboro, and Owl or Hawk just sitting by the side of the road, Beaver, Moose, Ground hogs, Fishers, etc all seem to wind up in my yard....So just keep your camera handy and at the ready. You never know when a good shot will show itself.
