The clouds cleared right at the horizon just in time this evening. Although I hate it getting dark this early, I gotta admit the sunsets are pretty good while driving home from work. Now where is my flashlight so I can go and clean up the leaves in my yard.....

Lakesrider. It appears you were IN the water, up to your chin, to
take that first picture.

This was last night from over here on Sebago. I'm closing up for the season tomorrow. I'm all set up for winter trips but we haven't had safe ice here in several years. Nothing left to do but blow out the water lines and plywood the sliders.....:(:(

LOL....what? No one is still swimming at this time of year? Sorry but no. I was just standing on a rock and because my camera display can flip out and tilt, I got down low with the camera and looked through the display instead. I could have been in the water though as that rock was just wee bit slippery....

There is a new feature on Sunday's "Good Morning America" on ABC. Ginger Zee is asking people to submit sunset photos which were taken during the current week and submit them to her via Twitter. The viewers will then vote on their favorite. This Sunday she featured 4 finalists and the winning shot was a sunset taken in Center Barnstead, NH by a woman with the last name Germond. Of the 4 shots, the NH photo had gotten almost 100% of the votes. Her picture reminded me of the beautiful sunset photos featured here by our Forum members. So, if any of you want to have their sunset shots seen on national TV, you can tweet them to Ginger Zee. I believe WMUR shows GMA Sunday at 9 am. Here in NYC, ABC shows the program at 8 am. I would love to see some of the forum pictures of our beautiful NH sunsets.
