Private message sent problem

I have returned 2 private messages to forum members but they do not appear in my "sent" folder - another forum member having same problem. I have sent 2 messages to the WM and no response as yet. Am I doing something wrong or is there a problem with this function presently? Thanks for any help.

When creating a new message you need to make sure you select "Save a copy of this message in your Sent Items folder."

Oh I see you have to go into advanced then hit that button. I was just sending from first return page and expecting it to be there.
