Found these 6 wrecks recently during a long afternoon scan. All within 1/2 mile of each other; If these post to the Forum in the order I uploaded them they are:

- A barge in about 60 feet of water;
- A weathered wreck-basicly a skeleton;
- A wreck next to another wreck;
- A wreck on another wreck; Looks like a collision but not likely; There are two sonar images of these;

Need to dive and video them. That will be interesting.

As opposed to most of the side scan pictures there appears to be a lot of (rocks?) around the last picture. Ballast that has spilled out, or just a rock strewn area of the bottom.

That is so bizarre. Those two boats sunk like that. Maybe, it really was a collision. Can't wait to see the video.

Diver1111, did you get a chance to dive the curious wreck/wrecks that look like a collision?

Went in Sept. w/a buddy; He found them-I was too far away on another wreck; If I recall correctly he said one was another ChrisCraft-type boat. Video in the spring.

I was with Diver1111 in September 2013. Both wrecks are stripped down, wooden, Chriscraft type wrecks. The smaller one looks to be about 30 feet long with 2 or 3 cockpits and is pointing towards shore. The other is maybe 35 feet long and has remnants of a forward cabin. The bow of the larger wreck is sitting on the starboard side stern of the smaller one at a right angle. Both appear to have been scuttled.

That's odd that they were scuttled on top of each other. Maybe they were scuttled at the same time? A 30 foot, 3 cockpit ChrisCraft type. That would be a great barn find!
