You need to leave by 2:00pm at the latest or stay until 8 or 9

honestly I find it best to leave right when the race starts or a half hour or so into it or be south of Concord with at least 75 laps to go

Come up Friday night any time and you will be fine. Going home the race on Sunday starts at 2 pm. So between 2 and 4 you should also be pretty good if you go 93. I wouldn't plan on using the back way up at all. After the race has ended it will be a mess until about 7-8pm. But not as many people seem to go to this race. And if it rains like they say it might, there will be even less people.

Keep in mind that the Highland Games are taking place this weekend up at Loon adding to the traffic. Don't want any road rage with a man in a dress...I mean kilt. maybe they should combine the two events...Nascar and Highland games. Men wearing neon green and white kilts with their favorite car number on the back.......
