Tuesday’s full moon rises to its peak at 9:45 p.m. eastern time, it’ll be a “seasonal blue moon” — the third of four full moons in a season. A seasonal blue moon hasn’t happened in nearly three years, and won;t happen again until 2016. So enjoy......

The space station will also be cruising overhead around 9:02 for 3 minutes but fairly low in the sky at 32 degrees so not everyone will see it.

Twas a great moon riser over the lake. The space station is due in 11 minutes, but is forecast to be 66 degrees, not 32. At least here's what I got in email for my coordinates.

Time: Tue Aug 20 9:02 PM, Visible: 3 min, Max Height: 66 degrees, Appears: NW, Disappears: ESE

Spectacular sunset, breathtaking moonrise. Saw the space station fly over, and spotted our local loon swimming with her baby on her back. It was a great NH day. :D

You were correct I was looking at the rise and set....NOT The max height. I was also looking at the 10:38 pass at the same time so saw the 10degree max height and mixed them up in my head......:look:
