Quiet today on the lake

Great day on the lake today. Up early to get some fishing in. Nothing netted but daughter and I had fun anyways. Next to Downtown Grille Cafe in W-boro. Great as usual. Good espresso, good bagels, good prices.

Cloudy skies kept W-boro docks empty and the lake traffic almost non-existent. Calm, glass smooth and peaceful. Cover on before the sprinkling started.

Love this time of year, especially during the week.

I noticed the same thing at Alton Bay yesterday. The water was nice and calm without a single boat in the water or at the docks. The NH F&G dock was quite with no trailers at all. Guess a lot of people missed a nice day.
