Wish I could get paid the money those meteoroligists get and get it wrong. That's really not fair cuz it is a thankless job.As of 8:30am only 3 inches here in Manchester instead of 12-16 inches.Less I have to move around I guess. P.S. What is Glenn running from now and which exit will he get off at? SS

Glennsteely....There is a reason that the snow is slushy in New Jersey......God is punishing you for being a Eagles fan. Here in NH we have lots of beautiful white, fluffy snow.
We only have about 4" in West Alton at 8:30 AM. It's almost stopped snowing as I am writing this, but the meteorologists are forecasting several more inches during the day, with continuing flurries over the next several days. The temp. here is 22 degs now.

Has anyone else noticed that GlenSteely is now thinking "outside the box" and is now running the city streets in an apparently northward direction?
Glen, how long do you think it will take you to get here? :D

The snow stopped in northern NJ about 6 a.m. We had about 8 inches in Clifton, but it's the heavy cement-like variety. Had to stop often to clean out the snowblower chute. The temps. about 31 degrees and the main roads are all clean down to the blacktop. Wish I were back at the lake. I've been home 1 week and I'm ready to go back.

I don't know how long it'll take him but when I see trees and hills in the background, instead of buildings, I'll know he's close. :D

There was about 6" of fresh light powder at Loon this morning and it snowed till I left at around noon (shhhh don't tell my boss :D ) Now back at the lake, its pelting it down in big fluffy flakes. Looks like we will get a few more inches this afternoon (about 5 so far). With only three weeks till spring, we need to enjoy all the winter we can get, while it lasts.
It's about 3:45 and I'm in Nashua, NH where we have almost 6" of snow. . . still falling. If the weather man is right (lol, that's a good one) then the snow will continue north-ish and reach the lakes region.
P.S. What is Glenn running from now and which exit will he get off at?
I'm pretty sure he is running from a mob of patriots fans

14" at the 'loaf with another storm coming. Temperature is forecast to be below normal for the next 14 days. Maybe we'll have a repeat of the spring of 2001. I was skiing at Loon on April 29. Ice out was on May 5th. Ski on weekend then boat the next. Life is good. :liplick:
