Sometime in mid-August, Lower Level Customs is putting on a car show (All Or Nothing 4) at the lobster pound at Weirs Beach. The president of the club, Jason, is the groundskeeper for the Pound (yes, during and after bike week too) and they have been nice enough to donate usage of their land the last several years.

I drove over to the 104 diner tonight...apparently everyone else was afraid their cars would melt in the rain. There was an old Nash wagon just pulling out as I was coming in at 6, but that was it.
Good dinner though...

Just as an update, the LLC car show is August 24-25. I guess every Wednesday night there is a cruise night at the Bristol House of Pizza, and I believe Tuesday nights it's at the Tilt'n Diner.

Also...I noticed a sign at Morrisseys for Tuesday...anyone know if that's a regular thing?

The Classic Auto Show is a big part of the annual North Country Moose Festival, taking place August 23-25 in northern New Hampshire and Vermont.
The 22nd annual Moose Festival, hosted by the North Country Chamber of Commerce, takes place Friday through Sunday, Aug. 23-25, in Colebrook, Columbia, Errol, Pittsburg and Stewartstown, as well as Canaan, Vt.
Events begin Friday in Colebrook, with programs set to include a guided tour of the proposed Colebrook River Walk, a quilt show at Trinity United Methodist Church, historical exhibits at the Colebrook Area Historical Society Museum and the Tillotson Center, and Main Street demonstrations from the New Hampshire State Police K-9 unit and Boomerangs by Vic.
In addition, The Moose Festival Street Fair runs from 3 to 9 p.m., with music by the Carlton Hill and Parker Hill Road bands, demonstrations by tae kwon do students and the North American Mountain Men, the Kiwanis Chicken Barbecue, Wild Moose Discovery Tours, Moose Cruise Parade, a classic auto show and fireworks.
The Moose Festival moves to Canaan, Vt., and Pittsburg on Saturday, starting with the 7 a.m. Moose Watchers Breakfast at Canaan School and continuing with the Moose Country Fair at the Canaan Recreation Park from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Diners can try the Moose Stew Cook-Off and the Moose Burger Cookout, then try out their best vocal gymnastics in the popular Moose-Calling Contest, which is scheduled for 1 p.m.
Events and activities also will include horse-drawn wagon historical tours, demonstrations by North American Mountain Men, concerts, a maple syrup tasting, an auto show, a photography contest and the 11th annual dog show to benefit Habitat for Humanity.
The festivities in Pittsburg will include A Day at the Farm, hosted by Maple Ridge Farm on Tabor Road, from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Hayrides and exhibits are planned at the Pittsburg Historical Society Museum.
Evening brings a ham and bean supper to the Farnham Community Hall at 5 p.m. and a bluegrass concert with Parker Hill Road Band, Uncommon Folk, Back Shed String Band and Kerry Smith at the Amey Farm from 7 to 10 p.m.
Sunday's schedule starts in West Stewartstown with a breakfast at 7:30 a.m. in St. Albert's Church Hall. Then, classic car and truck owners bring their vehicles to a Blessing of the Autos at Our Lady of Grace Shrine in Columbia at 10:30 a.m.
In Errol on Sunday along Main Street, highlights include "The Way of the Woods" traveling exhibit from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Helicopter rides will be available at $40 per person from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Children ages 13 and under can compete in a 10 a.m. fishing derby and take part in children's games, including the water balloon toss, three-legged race and an egg race, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
In addition, The Lake Umbagog National Wildlife Refuge will host the Chewonki Foundation's animal presentation "Mammals of Maine" at 12:30 p.m., and local chainsaw artist Josh Lord will demonstrate his craft from 1 to 3:30 p.m.

Don't forget, the Lower Level Customs show at the Lobster Pound this weekend. Looks like there may be over a hundred cars there and the weather is looking perfect. Enjoy!

I'm sorry I didn't have a chance to check in on this thread until now! There was a pretty good turnout although I only went yesterday. The show was from 10-4 or so today and there was a bunch of stuff to do. Kudos to LLC for putting on a great show.
We went, saw many cool cars, a chocolate milk chugging contest and a soapbox derby. It was pretty entertaining.

Event at the Wright museum on Saturaday had some very interesting cars including a Stanley Steamer, a Silver Ghost Rolls Royce, 2 Deusenbergs, an Edsel, several pre-1950 Mercurys, various Woodies, Packard sedans, and some cool unrestored cars and trucks.
Apparently there were over 70 vehicles, all 1969 or older with the possibility that it may become an annul affair.

Sunday Sept 15th the NH Mustang club is holding their fall show at Mt Sunapee. It's set right at the bottom of the lifts and there is plenty of things for everyone to do. Lift rides to the top, Zip Line will be open, Segway tours, and I think that I saw last year there was mini golf there too (don't quote me on that one)
All car types are welcome and have classes for everything.
I will try to get the flier posted on here for you.
And the good thing, the Pats play on Thursday that week so don't have to worry about missing the game!:D
