I have been taking a bunch of trees down and I have a ton of wood that will take me years and years to burn. Willing to give it away for free to whoever wants it. Here's the deal so we're not wasting any time here. 95% of this wood is hemlock there is some maple mixed in but not much. I have close to a chord that is seasoned 1 year, I have about 2 chords that is fairly fresh cut from over the winter and in the past few weeks. This wood is out on an island so it has to be transported by boat. I do not have a way to transport it but will be more than happy to hep you load and unload. This is all bucked up to ~18" sections, the stuff I am giving away is not split. PM me if you want any of it. I will be taking more trees down soon as I get rid of this stuff. Great for campfires, not sure it would be good for a wood burning stove.

Hi, Maxamum

If anybody is interested in that camp wood My son and his buddy (HS jrs.) have a boat that wood move that wood lickety-split and they would supply the labor for a decent rate. This is a new venture supported by their fathers.

The beauty of this operation is this Boat it will do 44 mph so not a lot of time spent steaming across the lake.

I estimate that this 20' commercial Alum-A-Craft could carry a half of a cord at a time. This boat and operators will be available around the lake this summer.

Since you are on Bear is there any chance that the Camp Lawrence or Nokomis might be able to use it?

Well the deal is the wood is available to whoever wants it, I don't mind helping humping it but the delivery mechanism is where I can't help out.

Jeffatsquam - hey if your son and his buddy want in on this that works for me and I have no problem giving them exclusive distribution rights, I'm just not terribly interested in busting my chops to give this stuff away far as advertising it other than here. If your son has a financial incentive to take what I got and charge a nominal fee to deliver it and wants to find a buyer - hey gotta love capitalism!

I don't know anyone over at either camp to see if they want it or not.
