Just got a call from our supplier wanting to renew our contract. We are in group of 8 business' that uses around 200K gallons a year so we usually get a pretty good price.Latest offer was $1.72 per gallon and I'm wondering what other groups are paying.

Irving.....been with them for many years but it doesn't hurt to check.
With Our Town Energy Alliance together with Eastern, and using about 400 gallons a year, our price is $2.62 +/-.
More usage = lower price.

Natural gas, propane and other fuels prices are indirectly to oil futures. You can check this out in the WSJ or leading indexes website.
Spring is a good time to lock in rates for the year, although last year the lowest rates were during late summer.
Last year Eastern Propane appeared to have good commercial rates, Fuller for retail.

Thankfully, it's not just me........there are 8 of us. Three restaurants, Senters Market, Keepsake Quilting and other business'........all commercial users so we go through a lot of gas.

That still seems like a lot. I heat a 22,000 square foot warehouse and used just shy of 6000 gallons last year.
I know a propane company down here that would kill for that kind of volume, even though you are a bit out of their area. If you want, PM me and I will put you in touch with them. Not sure if they can help but its worth a call. I have no affiliation other than being a customer on the residential side.
I talked to Our Town, they could not compete with my work rate or my home rate.

Have you talk to Liberty Utilities? If they have a natural gas line nearby, they may be able to run a line to your mall.
I am currently remodeling a home on Winnsquam that was heated with coal. That's right! There are still coal furmaces out there. Dutile on Messer St in laconia still delivers coal. A call to Liberty Utilities and there is a gas line a block away. They were happy to help me convert to natural gas.
Same situation with my girl friend's mother who was burning coal off of Lily Pond Rd in Gilford. A call to liberty Utility and there is a gas line on Lily Pond Rd. They ran a gas line to the house and she converted to natural gas.
I would give them a call.

That is how I heat my house, have for decades. Lots of dust, but I've have about a decade stored, no worry about rain or snow, coal has seen it for millions of years :)
