Just heard on the scanner that today is a class three fire day for areas that are not covered by snow.

This reminds me of the message board outside the Farmington Fire Station. Makes me chuckle every time I drive by.

Permits Required

So, is it; "No daytime burning permits required."

Or; "No daytime burning. Permits required."

Clearly intended to be the latter. But I can see someone arguing with the firemen as they show up to put out his brush fire at noon. ;)
