Any suggestions for someone that can regrout a tub/shower area in Moultonborough? Thanks...

With simple tools, knock out all the grouts, make sure the tiles are dry and clean and regrout. I use silicon grout, it last a long time.
Thanks but would attempt it myself if that was the plan...Will try the old trusty phone book or google. :rolleye1:

What about Home Depot? We purchased our hot water heater from them and an independent company installed it. They did a great job.
We are looking for someone to re-tile our stall shower here in NY and plan to call HD and get a quote from one of the contractors they use.
Good luck in your search
Couldn't a painter or tile guy do that?

Honestly this is the first time I've seen someone looking. Painter won't tackle it because it requires special tools to remove the old grout.
I would check with places that sell and install tile, local hardware stores etc.
It really is not that hard to do provided you have a means to remove the grout. And your not looking to remove it all just the top surface and any loose material.
I have done my own tile work and have the tools to do all of this but no desire to do it for money, I'll stick to what I do best, painting.

There is a guy in the tools dept that installs tiles on the side. I can't recall his name, a little guy wearing a cap. You can ask him as he can vouch for his work by giving you names of past customers.

Speaking of Lowes, be careful what you buy there. Lowes and HD are now more expensive then the local lumber yards on a LOT of building supplies.
I needed colonial trim and 5" baseboard for a job I'm doing. Boulia Gorrell was a lot cheaper on both items as well as advantec.
I have seen quotes from both Lowe's and HD and they are almost always higher on all but 2x4s. All the larger framing lumber is and always has been higher.

dpg,
Had the same issue years ago. Found that Bath Fitters could do the job as inexpensively as having it regrouted. Check them or a similar service out.
Hope this helps,
Bill
Thanks and yes have looked at bath fitters probably going with re-grout for now. Yup it's a tile guy that does it and have read Tiling threads here and made a couple calls recently. For the most part I try to stay away from the in-house installers at places like HD but I suppose you can get good and bad everywhere.
