Steve: I knew we could count on you for a pic of the worm moon.

• Full Worm Moon – March As the temperature begins to warm and the ground begins to thaw, earthworm casts appear, heralding the return of the robins. The more northern tribes knew this Moon as the Full Crow Moon, when the cawing of crows signaled the end of winter; or the Full Crust Moon, because the snow cover becomes crusted from thawing by day and freezing at night. The Full Sap Moon, marking the time of tapping maple trees, is another variation. To the settlers, it was also known as the Lenten Moon, and was considered to be the last full Moon of winter.

I saw a ton of worms at the Tilton Farmers Market last Saturday. The market is worth a trip. Every Saturday and Sunday from 10a - 2p, across from Autoserv.

Beautiful!!!

My hubby kept rambling on about the worm moon last night, didn't know what the heck he was talking about. Now I know...the robins and worm holes have been cropping up in my yard for about a week or two now. (when it's not covered in snow, which hopefully is now Ovah!)

I've never seen the term "worm moon" before! Interesting...
