I saw this on a youtube video by "willbegin". I have tried contacting him, but no luck. Anyone know which software package he is using? It looks like the ipad software, but it is on a windows laptop. Has the red boat with the course line as well. Just low enough resolution on youtube to not be able to zoom in and read anything. Thanks in advance. -Gary

The computer is definitely running windows XP, I can see the start button. Try posting it on boatered.com or thehulltruth.com

It looks like it could be Navionics.
I have it loaded on my work computer, I will check when I get there today.

In the video, he talks about changing his autopilot settings by 10 degree increments and watching the track line change to miss the witches, but he never mentions the name of the software.

I have a 2002 version of Lake Winni from MAPTECH loaded on my PC. It does have a red boat and looks identical to what you saw on Youtube. I did have this loaded on aan old laptop but unfortunately it is kaput so I don't use it.
Hope this helps.

I just looked at the control buttons on the Youtube view and they are the same as the MAPTECH on my PC. I'm sure it is MAPTECH.

Sure is. Thanks so much for finding it. Looks a little pricey. After adding the software and then adding the gps receiver to my laptop, I am halfway to the price of a new ipad....hmmm, decisions decisions....:)

I've been running this app on both my iPad and iPhone...
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/lakewinni/id450383355?mt=8

Best $35 you can spend if you own either device and are on the lake.

This year I might invest in the Lifeproof Nuud waterproof case and a Ram mount for the iPad. I just purchased a bluetooth capable stereo and plan on using the iPad as a music server and Pandora streamer as well.

I feel like a shill for this app as I am constantly endorsing it on the forums. :look:
