Go to Melvin Village and talk to Bart at the The old Village garage. Maybe he would know of someone or even himself that would give them a ride in an old Brass era car?

It is interesting that you have recommended a funeral company to provide services for a wedding. Is there a hidden message here?

If you happen to click on the link instead of making a smart ass remark you would have saw he works with a few farms in the area. Why don't you try to help people instead of being a ass most of the time.

Again I didn't realize you were helping either, I thought you were still trying to figure out how to wire that generator.:D

I did click on the link and it is a funeral home website. I didn't see the part about farms and even if I did I wouldn't have made the connection with the wedding industry. I apologize for upsetting you.

I was simple just trying to get him started as he was not receiving much information here. The piece they did on Chronicle sounded like he did everything if my memory serves me right. I’m sorry for trying to help!!

When I got married at the Catherdral of the Pines in Rindge about 20 years ago, we used a horse drawn carriage from the horse farm across from the airport and Kimbal Farms in Jaffrey. At that time, they were "Silver Ranch" owned by the Sawyer family...http://silverranch-stables.com/

They were wonderful!

If you read down under horse drawn services on the website I mentioned that is the one of the farms he mentions. Like I said I was just trying to help!

I couldn't figure it out..... SO I just SOLD my generator (For a nice profit) to my neighbor who has a Prius. He figures he can put it in the trunk in case he runs out of........ :D :D NB

The old car concept may be easier to arrange and an advantage over horse & buggy should it rain. The photo was at my nephew's wedding in CT, the bride and her dad arrived in a classic car. It really was a big hit. There must be some antique car clubs around.

Many years ago my wife and I went to Mackinac Island (MI) where the only mode of transportation is horse drawn carriages and wagons. It's a tourist destination and the home of "The Grand Hotel".

We signed up for a wagon tour....drawn by horses. When we got there the wagon was full..except for the very front seats which were still available. Did we luck out OR WHAT..?? :look: YES: The seats were right behind the horses and offered the best view...of the horses rear ends. The horses had not been instructed to refrain from pooping during the tour...so we saw nature in action at it's best. Hot and steaming......:D :D NB
