Alton Winterfest

Does anyone know the date of the Alton Winterfest? If I recall, it's usually around this time of year but I haven't seen anything about yet.

Hi....The winterfest is on Saturday Feb 19th. Please see the calendar entry for this date on the forum calendar, and under the list of forums under "Outdoor Activity" you will find a thread on the Winter Festival. About in the middle of the thread (post #7 in that thread) you will find the schedule of events from the flyer. Hope that will help you plan your day, and we look forward to seeing "on the bay". 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm at the Alton Bay Bandstand

Come Out And Play With Us!
We are rocking the bay with music, games and memory making fun.
Check out the planes, snowmobiles and ice fishing.
Don’t forget to sign up for the special events!
Get a good spot to watch the Great Alton Bay Bed Race.
All ages and friendly, four legged friends are welcome.
please dress warm for the weather

Free activities will include the Fly-In, Great Alton Bay Bed Race,
Family Scavenger Hunt, Snow Shoe Walk, Cross Country Ski Trek,
D.J. Music, Snow Mobile Radar Run and much more.

Schedule of Events:

11:00 am - 3:00 pm ~ Mt. Major Snow Mobile Club Radar Run

1:00 pm ~ D.J. Music Begins

1:30 pm ~ Family Scavenger Hunt - prizes!

2:00 pm ~ Snowshoe Walk- 30 minute walk to keep you warm, great view of the lake and mountains

2:45 pm ~ Parade of Beds, see the creative themes and fast racers

3:00 pm ~ The Great Alton Bay Bed Race- 5 person team (four people push one person rides) bed to finish line,
no cleats permitted, any size bed is ok, themed beds are welcome and encouraged, prizes awarded!

The NHAA Fly-In is scheduled for all day.
Please observe planes from a safe distance
