Embedding Videos In A Post

Does anyone know why the embedded videos in posts cannot be clicked for viewing? This appears to have changed in the last month. I'm not talking about the links to Youtube but the "frames" for Youtube videos that people have been posting. Is this the product of changes to this site or something to do with Youtube? Can it be resolved to work again?

I think I figured out a solution by checking the Internet.

Here's the old code that no longer works:

Here's new code that works. It's more coding than was originally needed. I don't know why the old code stopped working.
