He was a great lover of the Lakes Region since the college years. May he carry his tune in heaven.

Can't even believe it......64 years old. Joe was an icon in the music business. Many people don't know that Joe wrote some of the songs that they hear every day on the radio. Locally. Joe fronted his band, Joe Droukas and The Bombers and they were a huge draw wherever they played.
They were regulars for us at the old "White Hat" and they played at the Stonehearth, The Depot, Silver Lining lounge, Margate and almost all of the dance clubs that thrived in the 70's and 80's.
Joe was generous and giving whenever there was a cause that needed his help. He played many benefits and raised a lot of money for many good causes.
Rest in peace Joe. You will be missed by more people than you can imagine.

Joe was a big fan and supporter of the Muskrats. Last summer he hosted two players at his house for the whole summer. He was a fixture at our games and was always engaging and funny. This is a big loss for the Muskrat family and the Lakes Region at large. The Muskrats organization wishes the best to Joe's family and friends at this difficult time.

Please join us for a day of music, memories and laughter in celebration of Joe Droukas. The day will feature some amazing music, and a raffle featuring vacations, dinners, and lots of other awesome items.

A CD of Joe's latest songs will also be available for purchase. Joe had been in the studio recording vocals for these new songs, and his musician friends graciously decided to finish the album for him.

All the proceeds from the concert and the CD will benefit Make-A-Wish of New Hampshire.

Any musicians that would like to play please let us know. You can email anarita@droukas.com to coordinate

Updates on who's playing will come regularly

Please feel free to add others to this invite

The event was a huge success! $8,000 was donated to 'Make-A-Wish' foundation.

To me it was like a high school, college reunion combined.

Thanks to all that contribute and enjoy Joe's music!
