I am hoping someone knows the Registry's hours.Their web site shows the 2011 Holiday schedule but not 2012. Are they open tomorrow (Friday) and Monday. A telephone call just gets a recording. Thanks.

Nice people work there, but Registrar is the ONLY one out of all the registrar's in NH that will not allow online access. You have to drive there to research any records, even though it is ALL ON LINE in the office. And we pay a huge amount for this county service. Web sites are outdated...never updated. If on line, you could access all the stuff 2 hours a day, regardless of their hours.

An officer at a bank I deal with was complimenting Carroll for not being online. I was told people sit online researching loopholes and forging signatures they can get online in other counties, apparently its quite a problem for the bank.

I'm personally happy someone that wants to snoop on their neighbor has to get into a car and do some work for things that are really none of their business.

I'm even happier that Moultonboro (the richest town in the county) doesn't have to pick up yet another thing to pay for that doesn't add to the value of life.

I agree privacy issues are of paramount importance.

But really, do a Google search of you own name. See what comes up.
For $29.95 I can probably purchase more about you then you know about yourself.

So it is about time that Carroll County joins the 20th century and places all public information online.

I did, and nothing came up :)

I respectfully disagree on making it easier for hackers and the like. If you give me the choice of what about me is public information, then I would agree.
