My favorite OLD Boat House is in Senter Cove..Senter Cove is named on the old Duncan chart. It's NOT Named on the Bizer chart. This is the boat house where the steam yacht Swallow was berthed.
My favorite NEW Boat House is at Umbrella Point, Wolfeboro Neck. This property is still available for purchase @ around $11M, including a VERY modest house on 40+ acres. A view of the house is hard to find. :) NB

The one on Umbrella Point is known as the "Walgreen's Boathouse".
It's a long story about how the Walgreen name got involved with that property but they do not own it. A daughter (Victoria Dilling) of one of the owners (Elizabeth Dilling)was married to a Walgreen but has since divorced him and I believe lives their with her mother at that property...I think:confused:
Look-up Victoria Walgreen Dilling who was once married to a Walgreen.
The area hi-lited in yellow is where the boathouse is located in relationship to Wolfeboro Neck:
Vicky Walgreen did divorce one of the Walgreens a couple of years ago. Maybe three, I foget, but it was not too long after the boathouse was built. While she was still married to him, he built the boathouse and an unbelievable "barn-garage" in the back. They were going to build a new house. Vicky has had the place for sale since they got divorced. He now has places in Tamworth and Alton and his brother has a place in Alton too. They are both extremely nice people.

Be careful when going by this boathouse for a look. There is an Excellent ROCK about 100 yards west of the boathouse. :D As often as not, it's either unmarked..OR..The boathouse is such a distraction that you won't notice the mark... :look: :look: NB

I was under the believe that Walgreen's had a place in Alton Bay. On the west side fairly near the mouth of the bay, on 11-D. Use to be a lodge with several cabins. They restored the lodge and let friends and family use the cabins. Have a large old cabin cruiser and several mahogany roundabouts that go with the cabins.
Maybe I got it wrong

The boating last night was perfect! I'd rather be boating than spend time in front of the tube.
Will the show be on YouTube so I can view it later?

You are correct. It is called Boulder Lodge. It is in Woodman's Cove.

The boats are Mr Walgreen's. He has a collection of old boats and cars. His current wife who is much younger than him had a jet ski when I met her. The Boat House property on Umbrella Point was to hold Mr. Walgreen's boat collection and the building behind was for his car collection. I believe today the cars and boats (in the off season) are stored in Tamworth where they also have horses.
Yes, and his brother's place is before you go into Robert's Cove.
