Has anyone come across any good raw bars in the lakes area? Preferably towards Meredith.

We live here year-round, and adore Lemon Grass. Love to eat at the bar and chat with Marcus. The tuna tartare appetizer is to die for-just delish. The Ahi tuna entree is my fave-and my husband's fave also, although all the food is spectacular. Great sushi and sashimi

I think he's looking for a "raw bar" as in raw oysters, and littlenck clams. And no I havn't found any in the area. Good luck, if you find one let me know.

I love Lemon Grass, it has ceviche, sashimi, sushi...but it does not have the raw oysters or clams you would find in a traditional American seafood raw bar.

We ate there a couple of weeks ago. Spectacular place and they do have an excellent raw bar selection.

Has anyone been to the Wolfetrap lately? It looks appealing. I'd like to hear reviews.

CG13-The Surf is one of the newest and most popular places in Portsmouth. Great bar overlooking the river and very good food. Normally no reservations, except for large parties. Very worthwhile if you want to drive down to Portsmouth.
