I know this is a little off-topic for the Lakes Region, and I apologize ahead of time for this posting.
This morning I had a great breakfast at Benedict's Grill (176 So. Main St, Rochester, NH, on the left, just as you start up the hill toward the hospital).
The reason for this post is to tell you that this Grill has, posted on the walls, all around the interior of the building, a history of the Vietnam War, starting in the 1940's, and carrying through to the Vietnam Memorial Wall. For those of us who are of the appropriate age to have participated in the War (I was HQ & A 25 Med Bn 25 Inf Div Cu Chi) it is a great trip down memory lane, and for those younger folk, it is a great history lesson everyone should take advantage of.
I'm not interested in discussing the War, I just want to make the public aware of this "mini-museum" and humbly suggest taking a trip to the Grill and seeing it for yourself.
The breakfast was great, and I'm sure you will enjoy the trip.
Again, I apologize for being off-topic for the Lakes Region.
