Unfortunately, due to not enough beginner tennis players signing up at $60/8 one hour lessons, sixty dollars total, the Laconia Parks and Recreation Dept has tentatively cancelled their eight, one-hour class program, scheduled for Mondays and Wednesdays, July 9 to August 1, 9-10am. Only ten beginners enrolled and the program needs 16 beginners to make it happen.
Tennis instruction was to be taught by instructors from the Gilford Hills Tennis Club, and it would be held at tennis courts in Laconia.
If you want to learn tennis and help to make this program happen, then call 524-5046, Laconia Parks & Recreation, to enroll for sixty dollars/ eight classes. First class is Monday, July 9, at 9am, but only after six more beginners enroll.
