Today's Ice

Today is the first day this year we have had ice between the mainland near Minge Cove and the islands. I took a picture this afternoon that shows Smith Point in the center, Sleepers Island on the right, and Diamond Island in the distant background. I don't know if this thin layer of ice will withstand high wind, but for now at least we have ice from here to the islands.
