Little Giovanni Guglielmo just 5 yrs old of Belmont NH lost his lifelong medical battle on Monday.

I haven't seen any mention of this little guy on the forum and I wanted to share his brave struggles. I didn't know him or his family but I can't help but shed a tear for a life lost so young. Here is a link to a story about him in the Boston Herald.

May God Bless you brave little guy.

Hug your Children and Grandchildren.

I had the opportunity to meet Little Giovanni's father at one of the bone marrow drives held at Children's Hospital.

I still have images of this father standing on a cold and windy corner near Children's asking passers by to help save his son's life and be tested.

May Little Giovanni find the peace he so deserves, and the parents comfort in the knowledge they never stopped fighting the battle for their son.

I am sorry for your loss.

I was greatly saddened to hear about Giovanni losing his life. He was an exceptional child who really helped so many. It is a tragedy that one of those tested didn't match up to save him. His legacy will live on through all the folks that he got signed up in the bone marrow registry. RIP Little Gio.
