Hubby and I stopped at Mountain View Manna on Rt. 3 Saturday. We left with enough bread to last a few weeks! But it will likely last a week... Garlic Asiago, Maple Walnut, Black Olive and Herbs. Oh my word...each is excellent toasted with butter! And the Garlic Asiago makes a great grilled cheese!!

“Why spend money on what is not bread, and your labor on what does not satisfy? Listen,
listen to me and eat what is good, and your soul will delight in the richest of fare.” Isa. 55:2

Mountain View Manna is owned by Judith & Bob Ulrich, a husband-wife long-haul trucking team who finally bought their dream house in Ashland. That is, until the economy failed and trucking jobs vanished. They found themselves without a way to keep their house unless they did something quickly. They decided to go back to basics. And that was bread. They installed a commercial kitchen, got all the licenses and inspections, and started Mountain View Manna. Now they lovingly bake over 100 loaves a day for all to enjoy in many different and delicious flavors: including Maple Walnut, Cinnamon Raisin, Cranberry-Orange, Asiago/Cheddar cheese, Garlic-Basil, Maple, Cinnamon, and Whole Wheat.

All these flavors are available in different styles, too: Bread Bowls, Braids, Dinner Rolls, Hamburger buns, and 1-pound loaves!

They have retail locations on Rt 3 (a bit south of the Winnisquam Post Office) and in downtown Plymouth.

“hey have retail locations on Rt 3 (a bit south of the Winnisquam Post Office) and in downtown Plymouth.
Its down a little ways from the post office if going south it will be on the left not far from Roadway Inn. All the breads that are used at The Meltaway & Creamery come from there.
