Traveling south on Rt. 3, if you take a left just after Tamarack Drive-In on Scenic Dr. and go a few hundred yards, before the road curves right and becomes Scenic Rd., there is a Revolutionary War grave marker on the right about 4 ft. off the road. There's a headstone (can't remember the name) and an American flag. It's off the back road leading to The Weirs.

I'm curious if anyone knows anything about it? I assume the grave was there before the road and they built the road around it.

I asked this too but never got a repsonse, so I stopped and took a pic. I never did find out if this was a grave or just a marker, though I did come up with a little info.

If I am thinking of the same marker... I believe it is on land owned by 910 Watson Road in Laconia which is currently for sale. I know this because we went to look at the property. We were told that family comes once a year and straightens it up. Don't know much more about it.... hope this helps! The realtor might know more.
