Big Apple Shell

Does anyone know what happened to the "Big Apple Shell" on Union Ave, Laconia? We went by last Monday and it looked all closed up and out of business.

A few weeks ago the Daily Sun had an article that they abruptly closed and I believe the owners are from Maine and no reason for closing was released.

A lot of independent gas stations have closed since the economy sank and gas prices rose. Not a pretty picture as the big companies have taken over.
