Alton Bay runway 2012

As I look at the Alton Bay cam, there are two airplanes parked there. I saw Paul, airport manager, on the ice this morning, and have been hopeful he has been able to get the runway open.

I certainly hope they have a little more control over that **** show this year.
Last year a plane landed in the "road" that is used to access the bay and the bob houses near the bandstand. Some moron thought our road was the runway, not 5 minutes before hand there were kids playing and people walking in that area, this wasn't a mere 60 feet from the door of my shack. But yet Fish and game ticket sleds for going to fast to close to bob houses.hmmmm??!!
So hopefully whoever is in charge of that horror show reads this and spreads the word! This is only one of many incidents I've witnessed on the Bay with a plane mishap...
