I'm looking for someone who has experience with this product.
It allows you to shut off your land-line account and replace the land-line account with your cell phone account. You can use your existing phones in your house and or cottage!
Is there another product or products that does a similar conversion?

I'd be curious to know how well it works as well. We will be building a new camp in an area with so, so reception and the booster antenna might be enough to allow us to get internet through the cell phone. Sound like a great idea.

I have a dial up system (X20?) that lets me turn my heater on and off remotely. Functions much like an answering machine. I tried that product and discovered it would not pass the signal down to the X20 so it wouldn't work. Was fine for regular phone use.

It would be great to have but there are no land lines in the area we will be building in. That is why we will be going forced hot air instead of monitor type.

Check out Google Voice. It's a free service (though I think there's a one time fee to transfer an existing land line number to it) that let's you do all kinds of cool things with a phone number. For instance, my wife and I both have out of state numbers for our cell phones because we got them in college. When we bought a house in Laconia, we needed a local number, so we scored one from Google Voice. I have it set up to ring both of our cell phones when someone calls it. It also has a nice visual voice mail app that I use to handle the voicemail for both that number and my cell number. That's only one of several ways you can set it up. I believe you can get some simple hardware to make it act like a landline when you're at home.
