Sad farewell

I just thought I would pass it along that one of our active forum members " MarkinNH" (Mark Lamprey) has recently passed away. He had many friends and will be missed dearly. His obituary is in todays Laconia Daily News.

Wow. shocking and sad. I just waved to Mark a few days back.

I met Mark on a tractor forum of all places. I noted he was from Moultonborough and PM'd, which led to us meeting- what a nice guy.

Mark was a regular at the Village Kitchen....here every morning at the crack of dawn.He had his own favorite table that he shared with his friends as they talked about local happenings,bantered back and forth and tormented the wait staff who loved him dearly.
His empty chair is leaving an ache in all of our hearts.The girls saw him every day for the last 18 years and he was like one of the family.He was the first to offer to help anyone that needed a hand and he will be missed by all of us beyond words.
