Just got a great fishing book about Winnie history from the library.
I happened to stumble upon this recently.

"Angling In The Smile Of The Great Spirit", by Dr. Harold C. Lyon.

Really cool photos, information, and history, and record fish tables.
Definitely, worth the read, and a must read for any Winnie fisherman.

Excellent book -- and great tips from a variety of Winni angling masters.

Dr. Lyon does frequent the forum now and then -- that's how I originally heard of the book.
