Looking to get a couch and arm chair re-upholstered. Can anyone recommend someone local?

Paul's Upholstery in Somersworth, 603-692-2856. They will pick up and deliver. Very good quality work at a fair price.:)

This is an excellent suggestion.
These people do have a retail shop on Route 3 just north of Concord proper. It's the old state farm house. Open only 3 days a week now because of state budget cuts. Lots of neat stuff that these guys and gals manufacture. Worth a visit.
Ouch! Looks like the store is closed. Those budget cuts are getting worser and worser.
