Spotted two GBH's today in Laconia.

1st image is of one in the marsh across the road from the old Burger King and the rest were taken just below the falls at the Busiel Mill in Laconia. I went to the mill today to view an art exhibit and spotted this one hoping that a fish would come over the falls.

As always your pictures are wonderful.

Just curious, what is the process for "copyrighting" ? Mrs. SteveA is starting to get serious with some of her pictures and we are wondering about the "how to" of copyrighting. I've spent some time online reading about it, but it seems to be an expensive process.

Paul, as stated, your pictures are wonderful.

For the rank amateurs like me, on occasion, would it be possible for you to post the settings you use for some of these shots? I'm still learning.

Glad to, for static birds I almost always shoot in what Canon calls Av Mode a.k.a aperture priority. The first image was shot in Av Mode ISO 100 1/200 sec f/5.6

Thank you Paul!

Handheld? Lens? I'm assuming you are using a fairly powerful, fast, zoom?

Not handheld. I usually use a bean bag type support and the lens is a 400 f/5.6 so it is not fast at all.

A/D just to jump on the bandwagon. Your pictures are scary good! I take photos all the time but none of mine have that clarity! You must be using an advanced lens. Mine is a point and shoot SX20IS, but none of my pics have that Mag cover quality. You can feel accomplished at your great works! :)
