Engagement Meredith Town Docks

Did anyone see an orange Nautique decorated in flowers or an egagement happening on the Meredith Town Docks tonight around 6:30? My sister got proposed to by her boyfriend (now Fiance). She said YES! Congrat!!! :D

My daughter and her college friends were there and saw the whole thing! They thought it was so romantic. They actually took pics of the flower pedals sprinkled along the dock! Congrats to your sister! The public proposal was fun for all the spectators.

In all my years at the lake, I've never seen a street musician at the Meredith docks. Well, doncha know, there was one there Friday afternoon, who was setting up just as we were decorating the boat. (The kids were up at the Lake House having a drink.) I asked him to stay until the kids came down from the restaurant. He did and it totally added to the wonderful atmosphere.
