I just read on WMUR site that one person injured during the storm has sadly passed away. No additional info was provided. Anyone have any more info regarding this? Usually word of mouth has more info than the news. Very sad to have it happen anywhere but right here in our back yard is too close to home.

Press Release
Storm Related Fatality in Wolfeboro
August 28, 2011. During the height of hurricane Irene at 1215 hours, Wolfeboro Fire Rescue
and Stewarts Ambulance were dispatched to Oakwood Road for a report of trees down on two
persons. On arrival at 1221 hours, two persons, one approximately 30 years old and one
approximately 60 years old were found entangled in tree debris.
Apparently, these individuals were in the process of removing a fallen tree from Oakwood Road
and while in the process a second tree, about a 10 inch diameter birch tree fell on top of them
inflicting serious injury. Both individuals were transported to Huggins Hospital in Wolfeboro and
later transferred to other hospitals.
It has since been verified that the approximately 30 year old has succumbed to his injuries.
Due to HIPPA regulations no patient information can be released by this department.

Trees that get hung up, way overhead, have been called "widow-makers" probably for hundreds of years. Very sad way to get killed at age of about thirty.

Any age to get killed would not be a good thing
